Is That All There Is?

I was walking on the esplanade in Battery Park a few days ago after a disappointing game of questions and answers in one of the many offices of my college. Stopped off by a local deli for a cheap cup of coffee and returned to look at the water and passerby.

After a couple of attempts to write a post, I was left with the uncertainty of what to write. Should I explain the differences between myself at twenty and at twenty-two? What would my blog be about anyway? Had I even changed? Had I changed a lot?

Then I realized I was walking somewhere in Manhattan watching the water and passerby, cheap coffee in hand and Harry Nilsson in ears. Well, apparently somethings never change.

Favorite places for contemplation in Manhattan (in no particular order):
Greenwich Village
Central Park (also good in lousy weather)
The Metropolitan Museum of Art (Early morning...Best to avoid large school groups and tourists with cameras)
St. Marks (for people watching and bubble tea drinking)
Chelsea
Midtown and Madison Ave at night
Big Rock in Carl Shurz Park (Real life version of the wall in Peanuts)

Is that all there is?

How about you?

Two years later...

The clock is gone, the tik tok's on.

Coming soon -- more wordies from birdies.
